Camp Lavigne's
Project COPE & Climbing Programs
What is Project COPE?
Project COPE is an acronym for Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience. It consists of group initiative games, trust events, low-course events, and high-course events. Some activities involve group challenges. Other activities develop individual agility and confidence. Participants climb, swing, balance, jump, rappel, and devise solutions to a variety of problems.
Every Project COPE program emphasizes eight major goals - Communication, Planning, Trust, Teamwork, Leadership, Decision-Making, Problem-Solving, and Self-Esteem.
The program is open to groups or teams, youths and adults, who wish to challenge themselves. Our program has hosted sports teams, church groups, fire departments, police departments, college groups, corporate leadership teams, and others.
Camp Lavigne's Project COPE program provides a unique quality program that is fun, educational, and creates experiences that will last a lifetime.
